Ugh! Where to start! I am in New Jersey now at my brothers and he has no internet… I have been here since Friday. Before coming to NJ we (Dan and I) were in PA visiting Mom and Bud. Let me go back in time, I cannot get online so I cannot see what I last wrote about.
A few weeks before we left for PA, I found a good home for Cisco (my horse) actually I traded him for granted counter tops! The guy came out a few days before we left to install them. He came out the next day to finish but brought the wrong counter top for the other side of the kitchen. Crap! He is a friend of Dan’s mom so I let him take Cisco hoping when we get back he will come back to finish. He was supose to be there a week before we left but of course he had to come at the last minute.
The trip to PA and NJ was not planned ahead of time so that did not help. Brandon and Missies were in NJ a week before and Brandon caught this really big striper and sent the picture to Dan and Mom sent pictures of turkeys that were in her yard. So, Dan said…..it is the last weekend of turkey season in PA and the stripper are still biting in NJ want to go????. So, here I am in NJ.
Dan did not get a turkey in PA and no stripper so far. I think we were a week to late.
Michele came to visit over the weekend but left early Monday morning to avoid the memorial day traffic we had a good time, visiting Grand mom and going shopping.
I have been going to grand moms every morning to get her breakfast. Aunt Sonya left the same day I got here. Grand mom now relizes she needs someone to stay with her. Tomorrow I am meeting a medical social worker to find out if she qualifies for a nurses aid.
OOOOOOOOOOoh starting to storm and Dan, Billy and Dad are out on the water. It doesn’t look like it will last long the sun is still shinning. UGH..now it will be muggy.
Dan bought a golf cart, fixed it up really nice. We brought it with us to PA and NJ. We rode up and down the mountains in PA…boy is it beautiful there.
I am looking out of Billy’s bay windows facing the river and I see a rainbow!
I am waiting for Jessica to come home from her boyfriends, I am going to take her to guitar lessons then we are meeting Lisa DeRose for pizza at Cousin Mario’s.
Having no internet connection here sucks!!
Missie is having a hard time right now, I feel sorry for her. Her friend Cody Joslin died on mother’s day and her father’s mother died last week.
Missie has known Cody since grade school and his mother knew she was leaving on a road trip and had a memorial service the day before she left. I know Missie did not want to go on vacation but the plan was already in the works so she went. When Missie got back from her trip she went to go see Cody’s mother and she gave Missie some of Cody’s ashes! I know that meant the world to Missie and how unselfish that was of Cody’s mother. That had to of been a hard thing to do for a mother. Cody died of a heart attack in his sleep after an over dose of oxiycotton. He had OD years before and had damaged his heart. Only in his early 20’s such a shame he was a good kid.
Well it has stopped raining and the rainbow is gone, I am back outside. It is not muggy at all there is a nice breeze. I just sat in a wet chair! Looking at the river is so relaxing. I hope Dan hooks a BIG striper! He is having a good time and he is talking about getting a summer home here. Like we can afford it! A week of visiting is good enough for me. I do wish I could stay a little longer to make sure that someone can take care of my grand mother. Dad can only do so much and Billy has to work. Maybe I will come back at the end of the month....
