I found a good home for cisco! It worked out really good. The guy who was staining our deck said his brother in law was looking for a horse for his 12 year old daughter. He does grantic counter tops, so Cisco was traded for new kitchen counters!
I also found a good home for my pheasants, Robert Cunningham (the plant guy) took them all!

Melissa
Melissa lost a good friend, Cody Josyln, on mother' day of all day's. Cody's mother called her that evening. I feel so bad for his mother. A few years ago Cody over dosed on drugs and his heart was never the same. I guess he did it again and never woke up. What a sucky thing now every mother's day his mother will be sad.
Missie is taken it very hard. She has lost so many friends in her young life.
Brandon and Missie are leaving Thursday for a road trip and on of their stops is to visit grand mom.

Grandmom
Well Grand mom is finally out of rehab and back home. She has been home for five day's and has already fallen twice. Thank God Aunt Sonya was there. What happened was the rehab had her on half of her medication and when she came home she went back to her full dose. Which made her dizzy and sleepy. Now her doctor has her on half again and she is feeling better.

Ugh… where do I begin?
I have not blogged for awhile.
Mom & Buddy left at the beginning of the month. Poor Dan he lost his weekday fishing buddy. We had our Easter bbq the day before Easter, I had a blast. We had a bunch of people over. The annual rooster run went ok. Robbie only caught two roosters the night before so Dan also used the hens. Sucked that Robbie had to work the day of the bbq and Valine was out of town. Mat knocked me down playing volley ball. After that I quit playing, sometimes I think I am younger than I am!
The boys moved out awhile ago so I am getting ready to change rooms around. I am making Matt’s old room into the guest room and making the guest room a office. I am going to repaint Rob’s room from blood red to tan and they boy’s can use that room the few times they spend the night.
Grand mom Halley fell about four times in two days. Thank God she had her medical alert on and pushed the button for help each time. They call my Father first and he goes over to check on her. The last time she fell she told my dad she was ok but the next day she told him her side hurt. Dad went to her doctor’s office and they sent a nurse out the next day. The nurse sent her to the hospital. It is a good thing she did Grand mom had four “cracked ribs” poor thing she had to of been in pain. Grand mom is out of the hospital and is in rehab. She is mad that she has to do rehab but she has to do it so when she is done she qualifies for a home nurse under her insurance.
I talked to her today, well tried to talk to her, she was a little bit groggy and had a hard time hearing me. I wish I could be there for her. All she wants to do is go home. My dad now realizes that grand mom can no longer live by herself, so he is going to make sure that she has a full time nurse. I plan to go to Nj at the end of May if not sooner.
Billy’s dog Timber died a few weeks ago, I think he was around 13. I know his heart was broken. I still get sad when I think of Sandy.
I think my cat has a uti so tomorrow I am going to have to call the vet, sucks because I do not have much money but I hate to see him in pain. He just jumped on the table!
I am planning to sell my horses and pheasants. I just cannot take care of them anymore. I do not have time. I have been going to Zumba classes (aerobics Latin style) with Sonia, Angie & Jenny. It is a lot of fun. I also joined the Marion County Genealogical Society and I want to volunteer on projects. I cannot have it all!

Cisco
I have come to terms that I am going to have to sell Cisco. I really do not want to but I spend no time with him. I feel bad for him all he does is hang out out back. He always seems happy to see me, I think because he thinks I am just going to feed him. He has Pepper to hang with but I think he will be happier with someone that will spend more time with him.Plus no one is ever home on the weekends and I am afraid to ride by myself. He is so beautiful.
Morning With Mom
Mom and I went to where Robbie's girlfriend, Rachael, goes to beauty school and we had our toes and nails done. We went shopping after that and then we went to lunch.
I went back to work for a little bit then went home. So much yard work needs to be done. The last frost killed mostly everything.

Dudley Farm
One of Missies college class projects was to visit places that were "energy efficient". One place on her list was Dudley Farm. An authentic working farm, sounded interesting, my ancestors were farmers so I decided to go with her.
Dudley Farm is an early pioneer farm established before the Civil War. Currently it covers 325 of the original 640 acres that were operated by the Dudley family for three generations. In 1983, the last of the third generation, Myrtle Dudley donated her family farm to the Florida Park Service. The homestead consists of eighteen buildings. These are restored - not recreated - and include the family farmhouse with original furnishings, an 1880's kitchen outbuilding, a general store and post office, and a functional cane syrup complex.
Park staff in period clothing perform daily chores, raising crops, and tending to livestock. The farm features seasonal cane grindings, corn shuckings, and heritage varieties of livestock and plants. Deer, wild turkeys, gopher tortoises, and bluebirds are still seen in the fields.
I had a great time. The best part is when Missie learned what the corn cobs in the outhouse were used for! She will never waste toilet paper again.
