Melissa's Bridal Shower

What a blast last night! Everything was perfect! I did not get home until one o'clock. Missie was so happy and tipsy!
I had another surprise too! Valine sat Missie and I down and handed us each a box, it looked like a necklace box. There were still quite a lot of people there so all eyes were on us. Well Valine said at the count of three open your box.... one.. two...three, I open my box and Melissa was too busy looking at what I got and the next thing I know her box goes flying and then she grabbed what was in my box ( I was still trying to figure out what it was) and started jumping up and down saying " I am going to be a real live Aunt!".....yep I am going to be a GRANDMOTHER! It was a pregnancy test with a big pink plus sign in the box! It looked like a thermometer to me!

I refuse to be called Grandmom so I am working on a name for myself... I am thinking Lita!

Time

It is October already!!! On September 3rd we had a surprise 70th birthday party for Sonia. It was a blast! We did a rock and roll theme. Dan's brother Eddie from Chicago came with his family. They stayed for a little over a week. I really had a good time.

I tried on my dress for Missie's wedding, I will have to go on a very strict diet, or I will not be able to eat anything that night!

This Saturday is the bridal shower, guh.. there is so much to do. I am hosting it because, well for one Valine lives in Georgia, and the rest of the girl's are strapped for money. I met Sharon, Chelsea and Angie the other night to go over some stuff. Sharon is a big help! Angie is in charge of the games and it is going to be a blast!

Boy was this a sad day:( and on top of it all I do not feel good. Head cold I think from freezing in the condo at Sana Belle and then sweating outside, I had a great time over the weekend!

1st of July 2011

I can not believe it is July already! Sonya last month totaled her car and two days later Matt totaled his! Two in one! They were both at the shop for awhile when you looked at them they looked like twins. Thank God no one was hurt. Sonya pulled out in front of someone and they say Matt ran a red light. He swears it was green. His accident happened at the corner of HWY 27 and Martin Luther King blvd. A group of guys tried to jump him. He said the other people turned in front of him. We are waiting for the video from the pizza place that is right there on the corner. I hope his light was green! I experienced what discrimination is! I have never felt that before and it was not a good feeling. Dan and I got to the accident just when the tow trucks got there.

We are leaving for Sana Belle tomorrow, I did not really want to go but Missie is going so now I am looking forward to it. Brandon, Missie and I are leaving Monday and Dan and Clayton are going to satay the rest of the week. I did not want to stay....all they are going to do is fish, fish, fish!

I hate this feeling....feeling sad, I cannot get it out of my head of where I was last year. I can not believe on the 6th it will be a year since my grandmother died.

Missie's Wedding Dress

Missie's wedding dress came in and today she got to try it on! You should of seen her face....smile from ear to ear. She did not want to take it off! She looked so beautiful. She also picked out the most beautiful veil. I am so excited, of course I took plenty of pictures I am going to make her a scrap book.

Mothers Day

I had a really nice Mother's Day. Robbie, Raechel, Missie and Brandon got me the Michael Jackson Experience for the Wii, Angie gave me a really nice pair of earrings, Val gave me a new purse and Matt gave me the best card. He thanked me for being a mother to him when he needed one.

Easter 2011

Another Easter BBQ and I had a blast! I was wishing Valine would come but she did not:(. I think it has been a year since I seen her.
It has been so hot here in the 90's and humid.Summer is gonna be a killer. I am not looking forward to it.
Robbie and Reachal got their own apartment and they are settled in.
Missie is working on her wedding plans....November can not come fast enough. I got my dress and I cannot wait to wear it.
