Missie's Wedding Dress

Missie's wedding dress came in and today she got to try it on! You should of seen her face....smile from ear to ear. She did not want to take it off! She looked so beautiful. She also picked out the most beautiful veil. I am so excited, of course I took plenty of pictures I am going to make her a scrap book.

Mothers Day

I had a really nice Mother's Day. Robbie, Raechel, Missie and Brandon got me the Michael Jackson Experience for the Wii, Angie gave me a really nice pair of earrings, Val gave me a new purse and Matt gave me the best card. He thanked me for being a mother to him when he needed one.

Easter 2011

Another Easter BBQ and I had a blast! I was wishing Valine would come but she did not:(. I think it has been a year since I seen her.
It has been so hot here in the 90's and humid.Summer is gonna be a killer. I am not looking forward to it.
Robbie and Reachal got their own apartment and they are settled in.
Missie is working on her wedding plans....November can not come fast enough. I got my dress and I cannot wait to wear it.

Time has gone bye

Wow time has flown by. Christmas and New Year's came and went. Valine did not come for Christmas I was very disappointed but I understood. She is living in Georgia now and had to work. Brandon and Missie had there annual New Year's party we all had a great time.

Good news! Brandon and Missie are getting married this November! I am so excited! Her dress is beautiful and I know we all are going to have a good time. I just wish things were better money wise so we could pay for the wedding. But Missie say's her and Brandon got it covered. It is going to be at the Silver Springs country club, they are going to get married outside then the reception to follow. It is on the same weekend Dan and I have our Thanksgiving. Her menue is Thanksgiving dinner!

Everyone here id doing fine....work work work have to just to pay for gas! Almost $4.00 a gallon! Missie keeps sending me links about a food shortage and that I should stock up....I pray that does not happen.

Work has been busy and I hope it stays that way, it is tough when your husband runs his own business but it beats working for someone else. There for a while I thought we were going to have to close the doors then bam it picked up...

At Moms

Still at mom’s having a good time. Bud and Dan have been scouting and mom and I have been shopping. I can actually say she has worn me out.

Thanksgiving was great. Michele and Jaimee came and there was so much food! They stayed for a few days. Friday morning Jaimee made the best pancakes!

I am a bad sister …. I bought my sister a two way lighted mirror one side was magnified and I taped a picture of myself on that side so when she would turn it she would see a picture of me! I packaged it back in the box and gave it to her when she came to moms. I had waited a whole day until she decided to open it….it was so funny I heard her say “Oh my gosh!” I was laughing so hard it hurt! Ok you had to be there….it was GREAT!

Family Traditions; Chocolate Chip Cookies

Forget homemade pecan, pumpkin and apple pies….bring on my mother’s chocolate chip cookies! My mother has been using her mother’s chocolate chip cookie recipe for as long as I can remember. Through the years I have tried to make them following the same recipe but they never taste the same. I am visiting her in Pennsylvania for thanks giving and we (well I watched) made chocolate chip cookies today. I have such a stomach ache….

 This is why I have a stomach ache!

My little Prissy girl had a mini stroke the other day. I took her to the vet yesterday because she was walking around like she was drunk! The vet there was nothing she could do, that in a few days she will be better. Prissy is much better today, she really had me worried. She is 12 years old now, I
cannot beleive I have had her that long.
